SHIPPING INFORMATION AND RETURN POLICY

For large orders and/or items, please call us to place the order to make sure you receive a preferred shipping rate.

By purchasing our products, you agree to follow the shipping and return policy guidelines below:

• All of our prices are before tax and do not include packing, handling and shipping. All purchases in CA are subject to sales tax. No sales tax applies outside of California.

1/ ITEMS IN STOCK

1. Products in stock will be shipped promptly, usually within 7 business days. Unless requested otherwise. We may ship using FedEx or UPS Ground service. Sometimes we may elect to use USPS (The Postal Service) at our discretion.
2. Due to the nature of our handmade products, dimensions, details and/or colors may vary. Natural variations in products are not considered damages.
3. In the event that you need to return any product due to damage, please call 619-295-3500 or email us at contact@saharadesigns.com within 24 hours of receipt to first get a confirmation and authorization. DO NOT discard the original packaging. Please inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival. Any damages should first be reported to the carrier and then to us via phone or email.
4. DO NOT return any merchandise to us without a return authorization. Any unauthorized returns will be refused.
5. if we can't replace the damaged item(s) we will refund the full purchase price LESS shipping costs and credit card processing fees if applicable.
6. All products purchased online or at the showroom should be returned within 24 hours of receipt for a refund or within 5 days for store credit.
7. All returned items should be in the original packaging and condition which it was received, or will not be accepted.
8. All tile orders, special or custom orders, promotional sales (discounts, sale, free shipping, etc...) are final and are not returnable or refundable.
9. All returns on purchases made with a credit card are subject to a up to 7.00 % Merchant transaction processing fee.
10. A 15% restocking fee will apply on all returned items except those items returned due to damage during shipping.

2/ ITEMS NOT IN STOCK

1. Items that are not immediately available and custom orders require at least 8 to 12 weeks production time depending on the order.  Unforeseen delays due to production time, customs, etc. may extend the lead time. 
2. All tile that is not in stock and all moucharabie are made to order in Morocco and lead time can vary seasonally. Please plan ahead and place your orders as far in advance as possible to make sure your order arrives when you need it. We can not guarantee lead time, but we can provide you with an estimated time of arrival.
3. Sahara Designs is not responsible for quantities ordered.  Verify with your contractor before ordering since we cannot guarantee color matching from shipment to shipment.  
4. Samples will vary in color, shape, size and texture from the actual order received. Any imperfections or shade variations are considered natural and add to the charm of handmade products. 
5. It is important to inspect tile before it is installed. Installation is acceptance of the tile. 
6. Claims due to damage during shipping should be made within 5 days of receipt. All claims made after the 5 days will not be accepted.
7. You should allow another 8 to 12 weeks before we can replace your damaged items. No refunds will be offered on any custom orders due to damage. All we can do is replace the damaged items for you.
8. All custom orders are payable in full and in advance.  All balances must be paid in full prior to delivery.
9. Rush orders are available and can be air freighted from Morocco . Production time may vary depending on the order. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs and all inbound and outbound custom duty fees from and to the final destination. All air freighted rush orders must be paid in full and in advance.
10. All delivery charges will be added to your order which will be determined by weight and distance.
11. All sales are final. No returns will be accepted due to the handmade nature of the product.

4/Timeline: "ETA" estimated time of arrival communicated to customers are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays in production and shipping time may acure and we cannot be held responsible due to delays in production and/or shipping. It is the customer's responsability to order as much in advance as possible.
